An introduction to Cellar Notes

A cellar note is an instruction given from the winemakers to the team working in the cellar, they are generated on a computer and a paper copy will be made and given to the person completing the task. In this video we will look at two different cellar notes, one for an addition and one for a transfer. By the end of the video we hope you have a better understanding of:

• Supervisors signing off jobs

• Cellar note nomenclature

• The order in which to do things

This video was made in-house by our cellar hands, to give an overview of how to complete the task. However, more in depth training will be provided for any new staff.
